The first time you see your child. As a documentary photographer, I blend into the background and you are able to relax and concentrate on one of the most amazing moments in your life! I quietly record the natural moments before, during, and after your newest family member arrives. I capture the birth of your child as it truly is, in its most organic form, with the discretion of an artist. Everyone will tell you that after you give birth, you forget going through labor, that most of that day is just a blur. Do not lose these amazing memories!
Birth Documentary Photography Session $800
The session includes:
The Photographers talent.
Up to 8 hours of photographic coverage (in Saint Johns County unless agreed upon otherwise.)
Client is responsible for arranging approval of photographic coverage at hospital, birth center, home, etc. Photographer is not responsible if photographic coverage is prohibited.
A minimum of 50 edited black and white full resolution photos (color by request only and must be agreed upon prior to your session.)
Photos are delivered digitally (full resolution) including a print release allowing you to print the images for personal (non commercial not for profit) use. You may make unlimited personal reprints yourself or through your personally selected photo lab. Instructions are included on what settings to choose if you order prints from your own photo lab so that the color of your photos are not compromised.
50% minimum non-refundable* retainer is required in advance to book and reserve your due date. Balance due upon photographer's arrival to photograph birth. Additional time can be added at a rate of $50 per hour and is subject to the photographers availability.
*Because babies arrive when they are ready (with the exception of a planned cesarean or induction) Jacqueline V Photography, LLC can not guarantee availability and a full refund will be given if the photographer is not available to photograph the birth.
